To sister Mary Joyes? my mourning clothes of every description. To Ann Oliver, daughter of sister Ann Oliver, and the servant girl now living with my mother - a suit of mourning which I direct to be paid by my executor. To niece Ann Oliver the silk gown that was formerly my mothers and the Tippet belonging to it and all the rest of my wearing apparel I give to said mother during the term of her natural life then to said three sisters.

I Jane Crump of Childswickham in the County of Gloucester, spinster, being weak in body but of sound and diposing mind, memory and understanding, do in order? to settle my wordly conc.....s make this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say first I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses, with the charges of proving this my will, shall as soon after my decease as convieniently as may be, be paid and satisfied by my Executor herein after named out of my .....Estate. In the first place I bequeath thatever some of money belongs to me and as shall remain after such payments shall be made as aforesaid unto my father in law Thomas Fisher, his executors and administrators upon trust to place some? of interest upon Government or other good Security and to pay the dividend interest and proceeds ..... unto my affectionate mother Ann, the present wife of the said Thomas Fisher, or her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and the same is not to be subject to his debts control power or engagements and from and after the decease of my said mother upon trust to pay and apply such dividends, interests and proceeds to and towards the maintenance and education of my two nieces Mary Ann Smith and Matilda Smith the two daughters of my late sister Catherine Smith in equal shares and proportions until they shall s.....ly attain their respective age of twenty one years or be married respectively which shall first happen and upon their attaining that age or being married that I do hereby direct that the said Thomas Fisher his Executors and Administrators do and shall immediately pay to each of them upon the happening either of those events one equal ... etc

Wife ANNE MARTIN: Of Overbury at time of marriage. Daughter of Ann Baldwyn of Broadway and Joseph Martin (born Great Washbourne 1803) who was the Grandson of Thomas Martin and nephew of the Mary Martin who married Edward Callow Crump; so that she and Joseph Crump were related. Her father, Joseph Martin farmed at Overbury. The young couple farmed for a time at Exhall over the border in Warwickshire; in the parish of Exhall and Wixford not far from Evesham. Their six children were all baptised at Exhall.

WILL OF WILLIAM CRUMP OF DEERHURST 27 Feb 1847.
“This is the last Will and Testament of me, William Crump of Deerhurst in the County of Gloucester, Farmer. I direct my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully paid and I subject and charge all my estates with the payment of an annuity of eighty pounds per annum to be paid to my dear wife Ann during the term of her natural life by half yearly payments. And subject as aforesaid I give to my three children Thomas, Paul and Ann the sum of three hundred pounds. And all the rest and residue and remainder of my Estates I direct my Executors hereinafter named to pay and divide unto and equally amongst all my children, John, William, Joseph, Thomas, Paul and Ann and their respective executors and administrators share and share alike. And I appoint my son in law Stephen Baldwyn and my son John Executors of this my Will, hereby revoking all my former testamentary dispositions. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this second day of January, one thousand eight hundred and forty seven WM. CRUMP. Witnesses Lloyd Chandler, solr. W H Peacey. This Will was proved 27th Feb. 1847 by Stephen Baldwyn of Ashton Underhill in the County of Gloucester and John Crump of Grafton in the Parish of Beckford in the same county, farmers.
